We’ll have a game thread posted at about 2:30 p.m. CT which is around an hour before kickoff between the Rams and Packers at 3:35 p.m. CT.
Not sure if we will need a 2nd thread for today. If so, I will let y’all know. I’d like to remind people that the Weekend Discussion thread is the place to talk about you-know-what. We want the game threads to stay mostly about the game on TV.
Final thread for Friday. See y’all Saturday morning for the Weekend Discussion thread and playoff game threads.
There’ll be an Overflow thread, Part II that posts at 4:00 p.m. and I’ll close down this thread at about the same time.
A new thread, the Overflow Thread, will post at 1:00 p.m. CT. Then I’ll hop in and close this thread down. Then there’ll be an Overflow thread, Part II that posts at 4:00 p.m. and I’ll close down the first overflow thread.
New thread. This one stays open for the rest of today and tonight. Starting tomorrow, the daily thread closes at 1:00 p.m. CT. You will need to refresh the home page of the Texans Chat site to see the new thread article that also posts at 1:00 p.m. CT.
Via a Patrick Storm tweet: January 13th is bad for Houston pro sports fans. Yesterday, James Harden was traded (January 13th, 2021). January 13, 2020: Lunhow and Hinch fired. January 13, 2018: BoB given a contract extension. Oof. 🙁
This one closes at 3:00 p.m. CT and an Overflow Thread, Part II thread will also post at 3:00 p.m. CT. As I said in the daily article: No warnings that a thread is about to close down. Look at the clock, see that it’s almost 3:00 p.m. CT, and wait for the 3:00 p.m. CT thread to post.
Andre Johnson has thrown more gas on the fire. I’m posting the tweet below in case some of you have somehow not seen it yet. IMPORTANT MESSAGE INCOMING! So here’s the deal: There will be an Overflow Thread at straight up NOON CENTRAL TIME. And there will be a 2nd Overflow Thread at 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Previous threads close at the same time, and with no warnings like it’s somehow closing time at the bar and it’s a last call for alcohol. I can’t stand by and watch for comments volume all day. It ain’t working for me. Consider yourselves warned if you start replying to someone at around 5 minutes before closing time and it says you can’t post the comment because the thread is closed.
