I recently came upon this list of Every Current Movie Theater Candy, Ranked From Worst to Best, and it’s totally insane.

In short, here’s their top five:

  1. Starburst
  2. Sour Patch Kids
  3. Skittles
  4. Nerds Gummy Clusters
  5. Junior Mints

WTF? I like Starburst just fine, but they are objectively terrible for the movies. Individually wrapped, super chewy… nope. If you want fruit candy, Gummy Bears are a far better option at the theater, yet these jokers have them at #24! Oh, and the only chocolate candy in the top five is friggin’ Junior Mints? Ridiculous.

Based on what’s on this list, here’s my own top five:

  1. Goobers
  2. Raisinets
  3. M&M’s
  4. Buncha Cruncha
  5. Reese’s Pieces

However, I maintain that the all-time greatest movie candy ever is Reese’s Bites, which was tragically discontinued back in 2003.
