Hey, happy Legal Drinking Age Day, everyone! In honor of this obviously well-known holiday, I’d like to tell you all the story of my first real drink: When I turned 21, my parents drove up to Texas A&M to take me to dinner, and my dad brought a bottle of scotch with him. You see, my grandpa (my dad’s dad) died when I was only four years old, and when he died someone in the family bought that scotch. Also, the same week I turned 21, my grandpa would have turned 65. So that night, my dad and I opened up that bottle for the first time and drank to my grandpa.
And yes, I did wait until I was 21. Soooo… anyone else have a good first drink story?
