Okay… I’m not going to lay down some sort of mandate, but I will simply make a suggestion: Just for today, let’s just… not. Ya know? What can we say that hasn’t already been said 1,000 times? Yes, that was a pathetic and embarrassing loss. Yes, we all want Slowik and Strausser fired, like, yesterday. Yes, there are multiple other teams who have less talent on their offensive line, less talent at receiver, and less talent at quarterback, yet who still have a more functional passing game. Yes, we’ll likely win our shitty division and go nowhere in the playoffs (again). But let’s talk about something less depressing today. For instance, my stepson has recently started eating toast a lot, except he puts the toaster on the lowest possible setting and then spreads nothing on the toast. It’s essentially just dry, warmed-up bread… which is fine, but it’s still weird.
