Tweet embeds and GIFs are OK to use if you want to. Dolphins vs. 49ers (3:05 p.m. CT). Colts vs. Browns (3:25 p.m. CT). Giants vs. Cowboys (3:25 p.m. CT). SNF thread will post at 7:00 p.m. CT. ASTROS FANS: There’ll be an Astros-Rays thread at 6:15 p.m. CT with 1st pitch set for 6:37 p.m.

Postgame Texans 30, Jaguars 14

Texans beat the Jaguars 30-14 for their first win of the season. Late games thread will post here in just a minute or two. Astros vs. Rays thread will post at 6:15 p.m. CT, and the SNF thread will be posted at 7:00 p.m. CT.

1st Qtr. Jaguars vs. Texans: Week 5

2nd Qtr. thread will post with roughly 2 minutes left to play in the 1st Qtr. All game threads will remain open. In GAME THREADS, please follow these guidelines:

  • Trutxfan alert: Folks can go ahead and post comments in the 1st Qtr. thread. If he posts, I’ll make it the featured comment so that it’s the top comment.
  • No GIFs, no uploaded photos, no embeds of any kind, no links except for a link to the new thread.
  • Text and emoji icons are permitted.
  • Each quarter will have its own thread and will post when there’s roughly 2 minutes to play in a Quarter. Only in rare instances will a Part 2 be created if a Quarter is slow and comments are piling up
  • Overtime situations will always have it’s own thread. Always.
  • If you don’t migrate to the new thread, that’s on you. Boyce usually posts a link to the new thread, and others can as well.

I don’t really watch SNL, but tonight’s SNL is hosted by Bill Burr so I’m going to be tuning in to see ‘ol Billy Red Ass give it a go.
