I don’t know if anyone is interested in this or not, but I figured I’d throw it out there anyway: The former music director at our church is a very talented pianist named Matt Everett, and he started a non-profit called The Woodlands Diversion. They put on performances of classical music and raise money for kids to enroll in music, art, and theater programs. We went to their debut concert back in January and it was really cool. Anyway, they’re having a special concert for Mother’s Day this Saturday Night at the Lone Star College Montgomery campus. I’ll be there with my wife and my mom, and if you’d like to bring your own mom, I think there are still tickets available.

I asked J.J. Watt how he resists the temptation to return to football, especially given the Texans’ rise. His answer was interesting.
