Well, tonight we’re going out with some friends to drink wine and watch Much Ado About Nothing at the Houston Shakespeare Festival at Miller Outdoor Theater. As such, I thought I’d list my Top Five Favorite Shakespeare Film Adaptations:
#1 – Much Ado About Nothing (1993), starring Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson
#2 – Macbeth (2015), starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard
#3 – Henry V (2012), from BBC’s The Hollow Crown, starring Tom Hiddleston
#4 – Hamlet (1990), starring Mel Gibson, Glenn Close, and Helena Bonham Carter
#5 – Coriolanus (2011), starring Ralph Fiennes and Gerard Butler
