For anyone else who cares, we officially got our new Superman and Lois Lane yesterday. David Corenswet is a relative unknown — as he should be — and he definitely has the look (honestly, he could be Henry Cavill’s younger brother), but I’m mainly excited about Rachel Brosnahan. If you’ve seen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, you know how perfect she’ll be as Lois Lane. Also, you should go read All-Star Superman.

New music alert! TERRA FIRMA, the sophomore album by Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves, is more than just another blues-rock record. It’s an ever-evolving soundscape with shades of Led Zeppelin, the Who, the Allman Brothers, and latter-day Beatles. It’s prog meets roots rock meets psychedelia, but with an epic, almost theatrical feel. Like… it’s really f***in’ good. Go check it out.
