On this day in 1933 — so 90 years ago exactly — the first Major League Baseball All-Star Game was played in Chicago’s Comiskey Park. The American League defeated the National League 4-2. Babe Ruth played right field and hit a home run.

David Corenswet is a relative unknown — as he should be — and he definitely has the look (honestly, he could be Henry Cavill’s younger brother), but I’m mainly excited about Rachel Brosnahan. If you’ve seen The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, you know how perfect she’ll be as Lois Lane. Also, you should go read All-Star Superman.
