Well, today is the last day of school for our kids. My fiancée and I also have a three-day kid-free weekend coming up, and I’m gonna take her to see The Little Mermaid. Why? Because it’ll make her happy, and that’s how I roll, mofos.

Well, apparently today is National Mike Day. So to anyone here named Mike, we appreciate you.

In some non-football related news, yesterday the Foo Fighters announced that their new drummer (replacing the deceased Taylor Hawkins) will be long-time session/touring drummer Josh Freese. He started playing drums professionally at the age of 12, and he has previously toured with the Vandals, Devo, Guns N’ Roses, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Sublime, Paramore, and Sting.

Their first new album without Hawkins, But Here We Are, comes out on June 2, 2023.

I have to go on another Boy Scout campout this weekend. So… ya know… there’s that.
