“What’s bullshit, Mr. Quaid? That you’re having a paranoid episode triggered by acute neuro-chemical trauma? Or that you’re really an invincible secret agent from Mars who’s the victim of an interplanetary conspiracy to make him think he’s a lowly construction worker?”

I’ve got a busy day this Saturday, so I won’t be around much. My fiancée is having her bridal shower and her bachelorette party today/tonight, so my dad and I will be chasing around five boys (my two sons, my fiancée’s son, and my sister’s two boys) all day. So please pray for our sanity.
Oh, and a Roughnecks game thread is schedule to post on Sunday afternoon.

Happy Friday! Less than a week to go until the draft, so we can be done with the baseless clickbait. Yay!

In honor of today being 4/20, I was going to make a list of my Top Five Favorite Stoner Movies. However, I quickly realized that the only ones I’ve both seen and really love are Dazed and Confused and Pineapple Express. Don’t tase me, bro.

My youngest, who is in 2nd grade, has Field Day this afternoon. Remember Field Day? My favorite event was always the “Earth Ball.” If you don’t know, it was this gigantic six-foot ball that you and a partner had to push around an obstacle course of some sort. Good times.

Welp, the fiancée is going to get her wedding dress fitted today. It’s time to start counting the days…
Also, be sure to file your taxes. Thank you for your time.

A lot of rumors have been floating around lately — rumors about Nick Caserio, DeAndre Hopkins, our first-round draft pick, etc. Well, all of these rumors made me think of Rumours, the best and most famous album by Fleetwood Mac, which is all about the various band members doing drugs, cheating on each other, and breaking up. It won Album of the Year at the 1978 Grammy Awards, was certified 20× Platinum in the United States, and was rated the seventh-greatest album ever in Rolling Stone’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.”
