On this day in the year 1550, the city of Helsinki, Finland (belonging to Sweden at the time) was founded by King Gustav I.

One year ago today, I was marrying the woman of my dreams. Yes folks, today is our first anniversary. I mean… I suppose there’s probably some football-related stuff happening as well, but none of that matters nearly as much.
